What I like about small business owners is that they are not afraid to take huge risks and lay it all on the line. But, I agree they do need a lot of help with their marketing. I think having them go the social media and email route is not only the least expensive but its also the most effective. Thanks for the stats!
info@ibowtech.com
www.onlineuniversalwork.com

I tried to start a web service that would turn blog posts into PDFs which authors could sell. The idea was that there was value - say, $.99 - in a well organized author selected compilation of "top posts." But the biz - Bloggerce.com - ultimately didn't succeed. Users simply are not interested in paying for content on the web unless it is a *must have*. I like the AnyClip idea but there isn't enough value to charge. Perhaps the company can find a model to give the clips away for free and either monetize via licensing fees, advertising or some kind of "freemium" model?
