Navajo Systems offers cloud security services with its Virtual Private SaaS (VPS) solution. The technology behind VPS consists of encrypting all sensitive data before it is transmitted from the client to the server, keeping the data encrypted on the server as well while it’s at rest. The background encryption/decryption processes is seamless, so users are unaware when their data is encrypted yet their sensitive data is completely unreadable (and therefore meaningless) when stored on the SaaS provider’s server. This is particularly applicable to database theft and identity theft and could be a good ‘insurance policy’ upsell to SalesForce users.
