Bloomberg Capital and Cedar Put $5 Million into Israel’s Nolio

Israeli start up Nolio Ltd. (formerly DeployIT) has completed a $5M round led by Cedar Fund, as well as previous investors Blumberg Capital and Iris Ventures. Nolio develops Application Service Automation solutions for managing data center applications. Sounds complicated? In simple words, SaaS businesses are heavily dependant on the data centrer uptime, and Nolio makes applications that eliminates errors and downtime, cuts operational costs and resources and increases the ROI. In the company’s announcement, Nolio’s co-founder and CEO Eran Sher, said:

“Nolio introduces a new approach to Data Center automation that is especially important for companies operating large Web operations and data centers. Nolio’s solution simplifies companies’ ability to automate & manage on-going service tasks for applications, providing application-level and business-relevant insight, improving customer service.”

The company plans to use the proceeds of this round to expedite the growth of its sales force. Nolio was founded in 2006 and is based in Kfar Saba, Israel. The company currently has a headcount of 25.
