TechCrunch reports that Fring, the Israeli start up developing VOIP and chat applications, has raised a C round from its current investors, who have already poured $13 million to date. Backers include: North Bridge Venture Partners, Pitango Venture Capital, Veritas Venture Partners and VenFin Limited.
Only a week ago,we posted on Fring’s iPhone app for mobile communication and multi client instant messaging – and we were not alone. Fring has been enjoying positive buzz in the blogosphere and popularity in the app store. Even though the terms of the deal were undisclosed, sources estimate that it’s “most definitely not a downround”.
Good luck.
