Does Techcrunch Believe in Recycling News?

Recycling involves processing used materials into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials“, according to Wikipedia.

Techcrunch published a post today about the “new” $1 million round raised by Israeli start up Toda!Cell – only three and a half months too late…

We’ve been in a short hiatus this summer, but VC Cafe published an exclusive interview with TodaCell’s CEO Moshe Vaknin, posted on June 26th.

You could argue that they didn’t know, right? Wrong. A quick search on Google on the company name (a basic due diligence step) would have led them to our post on the 4th result, linked from MocoNews.

Roi Carthy is a colleague and a talented blogger –  I have a lot of respect for the guy. But if you are going to recycle, why not use the original material? After all “In a strict sense, recycling of a material would produce a fresh supply of the same material” .

All I’m saying is,  not cool, and a link would have been nice. Oh – and good luck to TodaCell, Moshe and the team.
