Kudos to iMedix for winning the Crunchies award for Best New Startup at Herbst theater San Francisco . iMedix has beaten some impressive contenders in the process: Hulu, Tumblr, Joost and Ribbit.
I fist wrote about iMedix in December, when they officially launched WebMd on steroids. iMeidx was founded by Amir Leitersdorf and Iri Amirav to enable users to find and share medical information in a single platform.
The rest of the Israeli finalists didn’t bring home the award, but the nomination itself puts these early stage startups on the global internet map.
